The National Bureau of Economic Research hosted the 2025 Economics of Talent Meeting on Friday, November 7, 2025, at NBER in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The meeting was organised by Glenn Ellison, Ruchir Agarwal, Patrick Gaule, and Britta Glennon, and brought together researchers working on the economics of talent.
The full-day conference featured research presentations and discussion across several areas, including talent and entrepreneurship, AI talent, talent identification and nurturing, and short presentations on emerging work in the field. The programme also included a keynote presentation by David Lubinski, Professor of Psychology at Vanderbilt University.
