Global Talent Fund - GTF Coaches

2023 Season 1
‍The first season of training commenced on Saturday, October 21st, 2023, and continued every two weeks until February 17th, 2024, totaling nine sessions. These online sessions provided comprehensive training in mathematics problem-solving, pedagogy, and the organization of Olympiad programs. The training was led by GTF experts, including International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) medalists and team leaders from top-performing countries, alongside world-class guest speakers from the USA, Japan, South Africa, and Algeria. We had 35 students from 18 countries participate. A total of 5 Certificates of Excellence and 20 Certificates of Completion were granted for full attendance and completion of assignments. All certificate recipients received a cash prize.
2024 Season 2
‍The second season was an online training program tailored for mathematics Olympiad coaches and organizers in preparation for IMO 2024. This season focused on mathematics problem-solving and pedagogy with an emphasis on combinatorics. Running from Saturday, May 4th, 2024, to July 7th, 2024, the program consisted of seven sessions dedicated to equipping coaches with advanced skills in combinatorics and effective teaching methods. Over 40 students from 19 countries participated. The training featured GTF experts, IMO medalists, and world-class guest speakers. A total of 5 Certificates of Excellence were awarded, and 21 Certificates of Completion were granted for full attendance and completion of assignments. All certificate recipients received a cash prize.
2024 Season 3
‍We will host a third season of the GTF Coaches program from October to December of 2024, focusing on Olympiad number theory. We are looking for coaches from around the world interested in improving their mathematical, pedagogical, and leadership skills. Applications will open in September 2024.
2025 Season 4
‍This season runs from April to June and provides advanced coaching techniques, problem-solving strategies, and insights into Olympiad education management. Covering key mathematical topics such as polynomials, sequences, inequalities, and functional equations—both at fundamental and advanced levels—the program ensures a comprehensive learning experience. Beyond academic training, the GTF Coaches program focuses on pedagogy, curriculum development, and other pedagogy aspects.
2025 Season 5
‍This season runs from September to December and provides advanced coaching techniques, problem-solving strategies, and insights into Olympiad education management. Focusing on a continuation of previous seasons, this course covers key mathematical topics from Geometry, including Angle Chasing, Angles and Triangles, Circles, Quadrilaterals, Cyclic Quadrilaterals, Transformations, Inversions, Configurations, Dynamic Configurations, Constructions, Coordinate Systems, Complex Numbers, Projective Geometry, Inequalities, and Optimization in Geometry. Beyond the academic training, the program focuses on pedagogy, curriculum development, and other educational aspects. The course is run by experts in these topics and experienced Olympiad math tutors.
2026 Season 6
‍This season focuses on Algebra and Number Theory, two core pillars of Olympiad mathematics. This online season consists of eight bi-weekly sessions, with the first half dedicated to Algebra and the second half to Number Theory, covering key Olympiad topics such as polynomials, inequalities, functional equations, divisibility, modular methods, and Diophantine equations. The course is taught by top experts in the field, including IMO medalists and experienced national team coaches, and is designed to share advanced problem-solving techniques alongside effective teaching approaches. The program is intended for mathematics Olympiad coaches and educators seeking structured, high-level training and professional development.

The GTF Coaches Program brings together academic excellence in Olympiad mathematics with training and collaboration across a truly international community of educators, coaches, teachers, and administrators from around the world. The program is completely free for participants, admission is competitive, with 1,450 applicants in all seasons and 330 participants completing the program from 47 countries. We are honored to present a selection of participants from the program, recognizing their contributions and engagement.
