Archit discovered his love for math at a young age through puzzle books and mathematical texts by exploring his parents’ mathematics library. The Art of Problem Solving community helped him keep going before he met local math friends. 

While open to different career paths, he hopes to continue pursuing research, having worked on a project before, which he greatly enjoyed. Outside of academics, Archit likes cats, chess, and playing guitar.

We caught up before he started university (interview edited for length and clarity):
