Alisa approaches problem solving from the creative side instead of focusing on learning theorems. Why has she has medalled in two different top international Olympiads (mathematics and informatics)? Because she’s great at turning setbacks into motivation. And when she gets stuck on a problem, she simplifies it rather than making it more complex. Her hobbies have included gymnastics and choral singing.
